Learning to drive following an injury or illness that affects physical mobility may require an evaluation by a Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS).  These professionals are trained to assess drivers’ visual, perceptual, cognitive, and physical abilities and make recommendations for adaptive driving equipment based on these assessments.
